Join local entomologist Alyssa Piccolomini for an engaging workshop focused on the basics of beekeeping and what it takes to support healthy hives in our unique climate. We welcome curious beginners, gardeners, and anyone interested in learning more about honey bees and their role in Montana ecosystems.
This is a hands-on, interactive class that includes opening a live beehive. Protective suits will be provided, and honey bees are generally gentle when managed properly. However, working with live bees carries an inherent risk of stings. By participating, attendees acknowledge and accept this risk.
